Terms and conditions

1. Reservation

Reservation can only be made through our booking system on the website or via email. A reservation is only valid once it has been confirmed in writing by Camping De la Belle Etoile.

2. Payments

Upon receipt of the reservation confirmation, 40% of the total rental amount must be paid within 2 weeks. An amount up to 60 euros must be paid in full. This payment guarantees a spot at the campsite. The remaining amount must be received by the campsite no later than 4 weeks before the arrival date. For reservations made within 4 weeks of arrival, the total amount due must be transferred at the time of booking. We reserve the right to charge administrative fees or cancel the reservation if payment deadlines are exceeded.

3. Prices

The published rates for a specific season will remain unchanged for reservations made during that year, except for any printing errors, unforeseen VAT, taxes, government levies, or obvious mistakes. New rates may be published during the current season and will be valid from the date of publication for reservations or individual stays made after the publication date until newer prices are published.

4. Deposit

For rental accommodations (Safari tents, Cocosweets, and Mobile homes), we require a deposit. This deposit is 100 euros for Safari tents and 300 euros for Cocosweets and Mobile homes and must be paid upon arrival by pre-authorization with a credit card, cash, or check. Upon departure, the deposit will be refunded provided that the rental accommodation is left tidy, no inventory is missing, and no damage has been caused to the accommodation or inventory. The rental accommodation must be left clean.

5. Arrival and Departure

Camping: The camping pitch can be occupied between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm and must be vacated and left clean by 12:00 pm on the departure day. Waste must be deposited in the waste containers. Rental accommodations: The rented accommodation is available from 4:00 pm. Within 1 hour of arrival, any defects and/or missing inventory must be reported to reception. On the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated and left clean by 10:00 am.

6. Canceling camping, mobile homes, and tents

Reservations can be changed or canceled free of charge until April 1, 2024. In case of cancellation up to 56 days before arrival, the reservation can be canceled free of charge. In case of cancellation from 56 to 28 days before arrival, 40% of the total rental amount will be charged. In case of cancellation from 28 to 7 days before arrival, 75% of the total rental amount will be charged. In case of cancellation 7 days or less before arrival, 100% of the total rental amount will be charged. There will be no refund for early departure or late arrival. Cancellations must be made in writing.

7. Liability / Code of conduct

Campers or users of rental accommodation must respect the code of conduct set by the manager, which is to be followed by all guests on the premises. Campers or users of rental accommodation causing nuisance or disturbance may, after a warning, be evicted from the accommodation and removed from the campsite without refund. Statements by employees of Camping De la Belle Etoile, other than the management, regarding the liability of De la Belle Etoile are not binding. Small pets (maximum 2) are only allowed in certain rental accommodations and with prior written permission from the campsite. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended in the rental accommodation. The owner of the pet or the person who brought the pet to the campsite is liable for any damage or contamination caused by the pet.
